VPILFs, Veronica and Vocabulary

It has often been said (OK, never) that politics and bubblegum make strange bedfellows, but junk news junkies who are fans of the musical genre hit the trifecta this week. First, there were those Brady Bunch and Jonas Brothers name droppings in relation to the National Democratic Convention, and today John McCain announced Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his VP running mate. BG&OD listeners might remember Sarah from her work as a sexy steno in show fave Adam Ant's "Goody Two Shoes" video from the early '80s. I guessed it was First Lady I'd Rather [ something]. Only thing I can find on Google however is First Lady I'd Rather Get Elected, and I doubt Hill would be offended by that! Becky

For this one, I checked Urban Dictionary as soon as I saw the SNL bit. Turns out I didn't spell it right, though, because as of today, the acronym FLIRJ is right there on the beloved Dictionary's home page, http://www.urbandictionary.com/. And the "RJ" is, indeed, a sexual reference.
