But I love ya, baby
For those of us who were outbid (at the last minute!) on Banana Louie's auction for the Anthony Quinn LP - how about adding 'In My Own Way' to the playlist? Just for old times sake.
Arielle's version of "Goody Goody"
This is a lovely version of "Goody Goody." Is it in Swedish? And is "Arielle" the same person who does "Jeg Vil Ha Lite En Hund," played frequently on the late and much-lamented Incorrect Music Show? That song is credited to "Lille Eris," but they sure *sound* like the same person.
Tony Quinn's Way...
That track is in my Space Patrol program #08. Ask to hear it by name... to your official Luxuriamusic.com Programming Control Committee!
In My Own Way
"In My Own Way" IS on the Lux playlist, actually. Or it should be...
Goody Goody
"Goody Goody" is from a series of Canadian bootlegs called "Ultra Chicks," and can be found on volume 1 "Filles in the Garage." The series is largely comprised of the music of the French "Ye Ye Girls" style of the 60's. "Goody Goody" is one of the more Luxy inclusions.

The Music - Questions & Comments - Part 2
A belated welcome back luxuria! Kudos to all of you who made it happen (Cliff, Chuck, and...? Sorry if I don't know all of your names). I much appreciate the aesthetic here and have enjoyed some of the new additions (i.e. Great Shakes!). I noticed you've got one cut from Frank Comstock's outer space exotica album on your playlist (Galaxy). If you're still adding more music to the site, here's one vote for some more sci-fi flavorings. Meanwhile, thanks for the swell sounds!
Telstar
Who recorded it first, the Tornados or the Ventures?
Telstar
The Tornados. According to what I've read about the Ventures, their frequent M.O. was to cover songs that were already making their way up the charts. It's hard to hold that against them because they produced some great recordings.
Stunning Frank Sinatra song
"You're A Lucky Man, Mr. Smith."
This song is just horrifying.
I love it.
Who found it, and where?
