The Surfsiders
The Surfsiders rule. That record should be re-issued with bonus tracks. I wonder if they ever covered any Smile era tunes. Does anyone know who owns Pickwick Intl. Records now?

The Surfsiders, huh? Let me guess.....they're a klezmer band? Are they old or new? What is the name of the album? What is their relationship with the Beach Boys? What other bands were on the Pickwick label? Educate me.
The Surfsiders
Hello Chuck Kelley !
I am seeing that the Surfsiders covered The Warmth of the Sun. Is this true, is it "good"? Will you play it for all of us some day?
Warmth of...
Some people might say it's good-bad. Personally, I believe if something is entertaining, then its good. So yes, its good.
I play the Surfsiders EVERY WEEK on Heroes & Villains.

The Surfsiders
Of course the Surfsiders so totally and obviously rule. I'm just curious to hear that one song.
The Surfsiders
also anxious, even. yeah!
The Surfsiders
Yea verily, the Surfsiders rule. I have burned 5 CDs of their jaw-dropping BBs LP for friends, a few of whom don't speak to me now (just kidding... I think).
Another fab find from our leader, Chuck "no relation" Kelley! WELL DONE laddie!
Now I must make a "Heroes & Villains" promo spot....

The Surfsiders
Dear new friends -
I am glad to write in for the first time. The Surfsiders rule! One of my friends has their BBs LP in mono and stereo. I say: Tops! Personal faves: 'Little Honda' (the singer seems to be mortally afraid of his girl; just listen to the words 'First Gear' and hear him shiver... there might be SEX on the horizon...and also: the pricelessly malformed intro of 'California Girls', which is camp of the highest order.
Brilliant!
Cheerio, your captain!
